Dr. Farag, an esteemed associate veterinarian at the Hawkesbury and Glengarry Veterinary Hospital, earned his degree from the University of Cairo, Egypt, in 1989. His veterinary journey began in the farm animal field and later extended to a role with Johnson and Johnson pharmaceutical company.

Making Canada his home in 2010, Dr. Farag became a valued member of our veterinary team in 2021, bringing with him not only his extensive expertise but also a delightful sense of humor and a contagious jovial energy that brightens our workplace daily.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Farag enjoys quality time with his family and his beloved Shih Tzu, Pico. His interests extend to cooking and fixing things, and he captivates us with fascinating tales of his travels back to Egypt.
